Greensward Academy is looking for a Cover Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic and have excellent interpersonal skills, be a positive team player and have a firm and confident manner. This role will involve supervising classes of students aged between 11-16 years in the absence of their class teacher. The successful candidate will be committed to facilitating learning within the classroom by maintaining a high standard of student behaviour and by ensuring students remain on task completing work set by teaching staff. 

During periods of little cover the role will include other Education Support work across the academy. You will be supported by an excellent team who are passionate about helping young people to succeed.  This role would be an excellent opportunity to gain classroom experience for someone considering joining the teaching profession.
