Cover Supervisor (Intervention Tutor) -Fixed Term 1 academic year from September 2021

Collingwood College looking to appoint an Intervention Tutor / Cover Supervisor to join our team for the 2021/2022 academic year from September.

Collingwood College is a High-Performing Specialist Academy for Technology and Applied Learning and a “Good School with Outstanding Leadership and Management” (OFSTED January 2017).

We seek a well-qualified, innovative and enthusiastic colleague to join our experienced and committed support staff team. The primary purpose of this role will be as an intervention tutor, however the role will also involve providing cover for absent teachers and supporting/supervising students. We are aiming to appoint a confident, resourceful and creative individual with a passion for supporting young people. The successful candidate will have proven, recent and relevant experience who can demonstrate good communication, organisational and behaviour management skills for a classroom setting.

This role is ideally suited for someone who may be looking to move into a career in teaching but needs to gain some experience before they do.

This post is 30.5 hours per week, 39 weeks pa term time, working Monday - Friday 8.25am - 3.05pm (3.35pm one day per week) Actual salary: £15,994 - £17,658 per annum (FTE £21,944 - £24, 228 pa)
