We are a boy's school with co-educational Sixth Form. There are currently 937 pupils on roll; approximately 100 of these are boarders. The Sixth Form has about 340 students of whom just over 100 are girls. 

An exciting opportunity has arisen, under the guidance of the 

Educational Support Officer, to cover teachers on short term absence.  The post holder must have the capability of taking a class of students, year groups 7 to 11, in any subject, keeping good order and students on task.  The post will also involve the recording and inputting of cover requests onto the School’s MIS system.

The role is 31.50 hours per week, term-time only.

Salary will be subject to experience and qualifications.

Haberdashers' Adams (formerly Adams' Grammar School) is a co-ed selective state grammar school in the market town of Newport, Shropshire, founded in 1656.The School welcomes boys aged 11-18 as day boys or boarders, and girls aged 16-18 as day girls in our Sixth Form.

Entrance to the School is highly competitive. The most common points of entry are via an 11+ examination or following GCSE exam results. Former pupils of the school are known as Old Novaportans.
