Job overview

I am looking to recruit experienced cover supervisors to work in schools across Wolverhampton and Sandwell. 

 

Ideally you will be available full time and be reliable and have your own transport as we work with a large number of schools across the area and some travel will be required.

About the Role: 


• Supervising work that has been set in accordance with the school policy

• Managing the behaviour of pupils while they are undertaking this work to ensure a constructive environment

• Responding to any questions from pupils about process and procedures

• Dealing with any immediate problems or emergencies according to the school’s policies and procedures

• Collecting any completed work after the lesson and returning it to the appropriate teacher

• Reporting back as appropriate using the school’s agreed referral procedures on the behaviour of pupils during the class, and any issues arising



To be considered for this role, you will need to meet the following criteria:

• Be eligible to work in the UK (must have a valid visa) 

• Must hold a degree or have suitable experience (minimum of 20 days)  

• Have recent experience working with Children in the UK (essential)

• Be confident in using ICT in their professional role 

• Have excellent communication skills 

• Possess valid references, DBS/police checks
