Clapham Manor Primary School and Nursery seeks an experienced leader to take the school to its next level of development, enhancing the lives of all those who are part of the school community. The Board of Governors is seeking to appoint a visionary headteacher, with an imaginative approach to putting the vision into practice. 

The successful candidate will: 

  • Be a passionate leader with a proven track record, who will lead the school in partnership with the local community
  • Be ambitious for our children and staff, with the imagination to put an inspiring vision into practice
  • Have a strong sense of the vision and strategic direction the school will need to take to continue its success
  • Have a real belief in inclusivity and that all children can be supported to be successful
  • Have an understanding of recent and pending changes in education, including latest developments in pedagogy, the school accountability framework and governance structures
  • Have the skills to inspire and promote the highest quality of teaching and learning
  • Be passionate about education in a school deeply rooted in the local community
