We are offering the opportunity to join this successful 11-16 school. Hasland Hall is a genuinely comprehensive community school on a pleasant and well-maintained site.  It has a committed, unified staff and friendly and enthusiastic students.

We are seeking to appoint a Curriculum Area Leader Science to start in September 2018 or as soon as possible thereafter. The applicant will provide effective leadership and management that will secure high standards in all areas of the Science Department’s work. S/he will take responsibility for creating a culture of learning that promotes excellence, equality and high expectations for staff and students in the Science Department.

The role will be rewarding and challenging, with excellent scope for his or her own personal and professional development and opportunities to demonstrate clear leadership skills and subject improvement strategies, supported by a very experienced and effective Line Manager.

Due to this post having access to children and/or vulnerable adults, the successful candidate will be required to undertake a Disclosure and Barring Service check.
