The Ferrers School is a popular, oversubscribed school and we are looking for a passionate, energetic leader and teacher who can work with us as we strive to rapidly improve the rates of progress for our learners and secure excellence in all that we do.

We are looking for a talented and innovative leader to lead a dedicated team of teachers. An ability to teach across all of the disciplines within the Expressive Arts curriculum is desirable. The successful candidate will take responsibility for the leadership, organisation, development, monitoring and evaluation of all aspects of the Curriculum area’s work. We are looking for a great teacher and leader who will be able to make a real contribution to our school. You will be expected to teach the full age and ability range, up to and including A level.  We are striving for the very best for our students and we are focussed on and passionate about learning.

The Ferrers School is a mainstream secondary academy for children aged 11-18. It is situated in Higham Ferrers, Northamptonshire, and there are just under 1,000 pupils on its roll.
