The Northworthy Trust are inviting applications for the post of Curriculum Leader of Maths at Merrill Academy.  This is an exciting opportunity to lead a Maths department in a school on the up.  

After a recent OFSTED visit Merrill Academy is now out of Special Measures and has been graded as Requires Improvement.  This is a very exciting time to be joining the academy where the leadership, staff, pupils and community are determined to take Merrill Academy to Outstanding.  

The successful candidate will be able to shape a Maths team comprising NQT’s and more experienced teachers. The team currently consists of 6 teachers who are all driven to see their pupils get the best possible outcomes.    

Merrill Academy is looking for a candidate to lead the department to improved progress and attainment.  This position would be suitable for somebody who is looking to take their first steps into middle leadership or somebody with experience in leadership already and comprehensive support will be offered.
