Starting from September 2019

The Governors wish to appoint a Curriculum Leader of Religious Education to teach across the age and ability range from September 2019.  We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and well qualified individual who will lead a strong team of dedicated teachers.  As a Curriculum Leader we would expect the candidate to be able to teach at KS3, GCSE and A Level, and general Religious Education in the 6th Form.  This appointment has a wider school responsibility in working with our Chaplain to develop the spirituality of our students and the liturgical life of the school as well as taking a lead in coordinating the provision of Relationships and Sex Education.  Maricourt is a Catholic School, under the trusteeship of the Sisters of Mercy and seeks to appoint a practising Catholic.
