As a Curriculum Leader you will be an inspirational and outstanding teacher who promotes the highest levels of achievement for all students. As a Curriculum Leader of Health, Social Care and Early Years; you will support the Head of Department and lead across provision at Eccles Sixth Form College and Worsley College inclusive of 16-18 students and Adult students, including Higher Education courses in partnership with the University of Bolton. You will preferably have an Early Years specialism and relevant qualifications and experience within the field. You will support the Early Years, Care and Education element of the Health, Social Care and Early Years department, focusing on increasing recruitment and working towards College and departmental targets to exceed National Benchmarks and achieve ALPS 3 or above in all eligible courses. You will work alongside and often in collaboration with the Health, Social Care and Early Years Curriculum for the Health and Social Care element. Using your enthusiasm and expertise you will work closely with your team; leading, developing and monitoring the curriculum so as to maximise the achievement of all students. As part of this role you will be required to teach. The prospective candidate should have a proven track record of teaching across a variety of levels and it is essential that applicants have a genuine interest in this subject area. Experience of teaching 16 -18 students and Adult students is desirable.
