Job overview

The MFL department delivers Spanish and French in KS3 and KS4, students specialise in one language from Year 8 onwards. GCSE study remains optional, but strongly recommended in Years 10 and 11 and we are keen to provide further uptake.

We are seeking to recruit a Curriculum Team Leader of Modern Foreign Languages to: - 

• Be responsible for standards of teaching and learning within the curriculum area

• Develop and maintain a rigorous system of monitoring, evaluating and improving the quality of teaching and learning within the curriculum area

As the successful applicant, you will have: 

• Evidence of successful teaching of Spanish and French at KS3 and KS4 (please indicate on your application which languages/KS you have)

• Recent, relevant professional leadership development

• Ability to develop and sustain successful relationships with pupils and colleagues

The Magna Carta School is an 11-16 academy in the Unity Schools Trust based in Staines-Upon-Thames, with approximately 1100 students on role.
