The successful candidate will be self-motivated, enthusiastic, robust and resilient to achieve the very best outcomes with a proven track record of achieving success. Severndale Specialist Academy caters for children and young people from 3-25 years old. We are a large special school with over 400 pupils and students on role.

We cater for a wide variety of needs from PMLD to MLD, on three separate sites; our main site, an MLD base at a mainstream high school, and provision at Shrewsbury College, our local FE College.

We have excellent facilities, a dedicated and well-trained staff group and very good links with a wide range of agencies. We are extremely well supported by our parents and carers.

In short Severndale Specialist Academy is a professionally challenging but hugely rewarding place to work.
