DEPUTY CURRICULUM AREA LEADER OF SCIENCE (TLR 2b)
Required from Easter 2018 (will consider September 2018 start for the right candidate) we are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, innovative and dynamic Biology, Chemistry or Physics teacher to play a leading role in the Science Department.
We welcome applications from experienced teachers, especially professionals aspiring to becoming a Curriculum Area Leader.
The successful applicant will play a key role in the continuing development of learning and teaching in Science.
A relocation package may be available for the right candidate
Science GCSE results are among the best in the school;
Summer 2017 results:
Biology: 98% A*-C
Chemistry: 100% A*-C
Physics: 100% A*-C.
The successful candidate will be required to teach KS3 and 4 Science, as well as your specialist area to A Level.
The Sciences are popular subjects at ‘A’ Level and results are consistently high.
