This is an exciting opportunity for exceptional and inspirational teacher to join and assist in the leadership of a supportive, ambitious and forward thinking team. This role is ideal for an experienced teacher or a teacher who is looking to take their first steps into leadership; now or in the near future.

The role will primarily include teaching English to all abilities providing you with the opportunity to build and develop your experience across KS3 - KS5. Your teaching timetable can be balanced with the responsibility of leading/assisting the leadership of the team to effectively deliver the English curriculum, supporting and enabling every student to achieve their potential.

Sherburn High School is a friendly and innovative North Yorkshire school set in an attractive position in the rural village of Sherburn in Elmet, which is only 10 minutes from the A1(M) hence making it easily and quickly accessible from Leeds, York, Doncaster, Bradford, Pontefract and the surrounding areas.
