Tenby Schools Malaysia is a part of ISP and our Tenby schools across Malaysia are located in Ipoh, Penang, Setia Alam, Semenyih, Tropicana Aman and Johor Bahru.

As part of our on-going commitment to our students and parents we are recruiting a Deputy Head of Primary commencing January 2020.


Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Head of Primary in the continued development of the quality of teaching and learning within the Primary School
  • Adopt a strong and caring leadership manner as to encourage staff and students to achieve their objectives
  • Contribute to the strategic development of the school and the SEG campus


Job Requirements:

The ideal candidate will be/have;

• Bachelor Degree in Education, PGCE, NPQSL or its equivalent

• Experience in the UK or internationally in a leadership position

• Knowledge and understanding of the international education sector

• Understanding of, and experience in, curriculum management, design, implementation and evaluation

• Ability to develop relationships, build trust and command respect

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Cultural awareness, understanding and sensitivity

• Positive and adaptable to changing circumstances and open to new ideas

• Energetic, enthusiastic and reliable with personal impact and presence

• Inquisitive and able to think creatively, solve problems and make decisions based on sound judgment drawing on expertise from others

• An individual who demonstrates a real sense of professionalism, commitment and integrity

• Able to start work Jan 2020

This is a two-year contract with an option to renew at the end.  Benefits include:

Tenby Schools Setia Eco Gardens, Johor Bahru, Malaysia, is a large 3-16 campus located on a green 19-acre site with excellent facilities and a warm, welcoming community.
