Ipswich High SchoolSuffolk

Due to the appointment of the current post holder to the headship of St Mary’s, Colchester, Ipswich High School seeks to appoint a suitably experienced, collaborative and dynamic Deputy Head with effect from August or September 2021.

Located on an idyllic 87-acre campus on the banks of the River Orwell, Ipswich High School enjoys an enviable reputation of delivering outstanding academic results whilst maintaining a warm, welcoming and happy community of approximately 440 pupils, aged 3-18.  As the sole Deputy Head and reporting to the Headmaster, you will primarily lead the Senior School and Sixth Form (currently totaling approximately 340 pupils) and will therefore take a key role in the future strategy of the school.
