Potters Bar Clinic School wishes to recruit an enthusiastic dedicated Deputy Head Teacher to join our highly effective specialist teaching team. Your role will be to support the Head Teacher and school in its drive to improve the Quality of Education. You will also take the lead in maintaining the high standards of behaviour and attitudes.
Potters Bar Clinic School is based within the 18 bed CAMHS unit here at the Clinic. It is a low secure unit which takes 13-18 year olds, who require help and support within a psychiatric hospital setting.
Our aim and objectives are to ensure that all our students receive a curriculum that whilst maintaining its breadth, is personalised to meet individuals needs within the context of assisting in the care and treatment programme facilitated by the hospital.
We need you to be a caring and hardworking, versatile individual with some senior management or team leader experience looking to improve ones skills and make a meaningful difference to pupils lives within a special school setting.
We would normally welcome school visits, but due to the current Covid-19 restrictions this may not be possible. However please feel free to ring us and have a chat about the role and our school.
