Deputy Head Teacher - The Family School London

The Family School London is at an exciting time in its development.  Our innovative approach to engaging parents and families and embedding best practice in the school’s integrated mental health and learning curriculum has been recognised by Ofsted 2017 as outstanding; we aim to further develop this model.  In December 2018 we will be ready to move into our purpose built school site located alongside the Anna Freud National Centre for Children and Families’ centre of excellence; we are looking forward to further collaboration with their evidence based approach to child and family intervention.

Although we have experienced much success since opening in 2014 we do not consider ourselves the finished article: we must continue to improve and to embrace change.  We are now seeking to appoint an individual to the position of deputy headteacher: someone who has the creativity and motivation to innovate; the dogged determination to see things through to completion and the reflective capacity to evaluate and reassess.  If this is you then we would love to hear from you.  You may come from a primary or a secondary background with experience in mainstream, AP or special education.  You will have a commitment to young people and a passion for making a difference.  The precise list of duties associated with this role are negotiable depending on the candidates skills and experience.
