Princess Frederica CE VA Primary School is a very popular, vibrant two-form entry primary school with an outstanding reputation in the ethnically diverse local and wider community. We are seeking to appoint a full-time Deputy Head Teacher to join the enthusiastic and caring staff team at this warm and friendly Church of England Primary School.

We are looking for a Deputy Head Teacher who can demonstrate:

• Being  highly organised, energetic and passionate about making the school a centre of excellence, especially with regards to developing the curriculum and the professional development of all teachers within the school community

• Being an inspirational leader, strategic thinker and creative problem-solver

• Being a people manager with emotional intelligence, enthusiasm and good humour to lead and challenge staff

• The ability to lead, manage and motivate the whole school community

• They are an outstanding class teacher 

• They have a working knowledge and practical understanding of using assessment data to accelerate pupil progress and enhance the quality of teaching and learning

• They have excellent organisational and ICT skills

• They are a dedicated professional who is committed to building on existing  partnerships between parents, governors, Church, other schools and the wider community

The successful candidate will need to be able to demonstrate a significant impact made with reference to the points above.
