Over the past year, despite the pandemic, The Mandeville School has demonstrated the capacity for rapid improvement. Our vision is to be a kind community where everyone perseveres, achieves, and flourishes; where we enable all to experience life to the full. We are ambitious for our students and to rapidly making this vision a reality.

As part of this process of continued improvement we are looking to appoint an outstanding and committed Deputy Headteacher. They will lead on the development of students' behaviour and creating outstanding co-curricular provision that develops the ‘whole child’.

The school

With just over 1,000 students on roll we are a popular school in the heart of Buckinghamshire. We’re fortunate to be based in a diverse, supportive and ever-changing community in Aylesbury and our students are respectful, hardworking and eager to succeed, borne out by our high attendance figures.

As our recent Ofsted Monitoring recognises, we’re an ambitious school and well on the way in an exciting journey of improvement. We are progressing rapidly through the hard work of our enthusiastic, loyal and committed staff. We take a considered approach to school improvement, while maintaining a sense of urgency. In all our decisions and actions we are informed by our values of perseverance, kindness, integrity and community.
