Job/Person Summary

Lakeside School is an outstanding day and residential special school for 92 Key stage 3 & 4 boys with a range of needs including challenging behaviour. 

The school received an “Outstanding” rating from OFSTED in November 2017 – and for its residence in January 2018.

Due to the retirement of the current deputy headteacher we have a vacancy for a senior leader with a commitment to child centred learning. You will have significant experience in working with challenging behaviour and able to model outstanding teaching practice to our dedicated team of teaching and classroom based professionals.

As a member of the senior leadership team you will be responsible for a wide range of strategic projects that will ensure on-going and innovative whole school improvements. A commitment to securing high levels of progress for each pupil is essential. Our goal is to ensure all pupils achieve socially, emotionally and academically during their time at Lakeside School.

Lakeside School is fortunate to be supported by a Governing Body passionate about pupil progress and achieving high standards in all areas.
