Following the promotion of the present post holder to headship from September 2019, we are seeking to appoint a Deputy Headteacher to join our senior team. As sole deputy you will lead on curriculum and standards across the school, building on the developments of the last few years and helping to deliver the best possible outcomes for our young people.

Fearnhill School is a mixed, comprehensive secondary school with sixth form in Hertfordshire serving students from the age of 11-18. The secondary school, situated in Letchworth Garden City has approximately 520 students on roll.

Fearnhill School was built for Hertfordshire County Council and has facilities including a music suite, drama studio, nine fully-size teaching laboratories  and good IT provision. A sports centre is also on site, complete with a gymnasium and tennis courts.
