A full-time vacancy has arisen for a Deputy Head Teacher at Percy Hedley School. Percy Hedley is an outstanding, non-maintained special school with 159 pupils on roll, aged 3-19 years, all of whom have a Statement of Special Educational Needs or an Education Health and Care Plan. At Percy Hedley we believe in unlocking the potential of all and teachers, therapists and support staff work together to ensure all pupils make excellent progress.


We wish to appoint an excellent, enthusiastic and knowledgeable Deputy Head teacher with a strong commitment to Special Needs Education and to inclusive practice to work with the Head of School to maintain and develop our outstanding provision.


We are seeking an experienced leader with knowledge and experience of working with children with special educational needs and with significant senior leadership experience.
