Newstead Wood School is a selective, high-achieving grammar school for girls with a mixed Sixth Form.  Following the promotion of our current Deputy Headteacher to Headship, we are seeking exceptional candidates who wish to progress onto Headship in the future. You will have strong leadership skills and the ability to inspire and motivate a team.  The successful candidate will be a consistently outstanding practitioner with a strong record of success.

About Newstead Wood School

Newstead Wood is a highly selective girls’ state secondary school, with a co-educational Sixth Form, close to Orpington Station, with direct links to London. Our catchment radius covers a wide, rich range of socio-economic and ethnic areas: over 40% of students are from ethnic minorities and many of our students will be the first of their families to enter Higher Education. The school is heavily over-subscribed.
