• The ability and the vision to move the school from Good to Outstanding

• A passion to provide the best possible learning and teaching, across the primary and secondary curriculum

• The experience to become the designated safeguarding lead and to ensure safeguarding is at the heart of the school and our children protected

• Proven qualities as an imaginative, innovative, resourceful and decisive leader, with the ability to inspire, motivate and stretch colleagues through support and appropriate challenge

• An understanding of the current educational climate with regards to academisation and a willingness to continuously explore all future options for the school

• A sound and demonstrable knowledge of how to meet the educational, social and emotional needs of pupils with a range of special educational needs and disabilities.

In return, we offer:

• A strong team of enthusiastic, high-performing and dedicated staff

• An active, committed and well-established governing body

• Extensive opportunities for continuous professional development in line with the duties of the post

• Outstanding standards of behaviour and safeguarding
