DEPUTY HEADTEACHER – Standards and Curriculum

Post Title: Deputy Headteacher – Standards and Curriculum

Salary/Grade: Leadership Range L16 - 20

The Governors and the Executive Headteacher are seeking a well-qualified, innovative and inspiring Deputy Headteacher to take a strategic role in promoting the school educational aims and ethos. The role offers the right candidate an excellent opportunity to help shape the academic thinking and practice at St Anne’s.

This is a very exciting time for the school and its journey towards becoming outstanding. St Anne’s is currently undergoing massive changes at Senior Leadership level which will mean that changes are inevitable at whole school level. Importantly, this is a fantastic opportunity for a suitably qualified Senior Leader who wants to make a real difference to the pupils at St Anne’s. I am looking for a candidate with ambitions to be a future Headteacher and who can lead on Curriculum and Standards.

We are a fully comprehensive school and the successful candidate will be able to engage, inspire and challenge pupils and staff. The candidate will be values driven and have a clear moral compass and belief that pupils must receive an outstanding education, which is reflected in outstanding pupil outcomes. The successful candidate will gain a wealth of experience, including working alongside an experienced and successful Leadership Team.

What does St Anne’s offer?

To be a major part of a new, determined Senior Leadership team who are focused on raising the attainment and aspirations of all the pupils across the school.

An opportunity to shape, develop and embed a new ethos and culture across St Anne’s.

A commitment to excellent professional development and the successful candidate will have access to support from outstanding Senior Leaders.

A new simple vision, which is to become outstanding, for the St Anne’s community underpinned by a staff who work together as a strong and united team.

A supportive staff network that will reflect our Catholic ethos.

An excellent opportunity for an aspiring Deputy Headteacher

Visits to the school are strongly encouraged to meet the Headteacher and the SLT.

Completed applications should be sent to Sue Swire, PA to the Headteacher, by emailing
