This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic, inspirational and highly motivated professional to play a key part in the leadership of one of our core subjects. The right candidate would join our thriving English Faculty and work alongside our newly appointed Leader of English to drive standards even higher in English Language, English Literature and other associated subjects. The role is suitable for an experienced colleague or a professional in the early stages of their career; professional development and support specific to the role will be provided.

• Support the Leader of English and Senior Leadership team in delivering ongoing excellent provision in this core subject, particularly in relation to learning and teaching.
• Continue to develop the new GCSE English specifications using your own ideas and to contribute to the development of a flagship faculty in the school and local area.
• Contribute to the development of a curriculum that challenges, inspires and engages students.

Scholarships
We are currently introducing Scholarships for aspiring lead learning practitioners. Up to £2000 scholarship bursary will be available over two years. The Scholarship is to enable the preparation of inspirational resources, lead on aspects of intervention, sharing of good practice and development of a ‘leadership of learning’ challenge. There will also be a £1000 ‘golden ticket’ for training and development with the Castle Phoenix Teaching School Alliance and Leadership Academy
