Changing lives – Transforming Futures.
An exciting opportunity has recently arisen for an outstanding teacher and leader to join Oasis Academy Shirley Park as a Deputy Principal. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic senior leadership team and will take a leading role in the life of the Academy. Candidates must have ambition, drive and most importantly, a passion for learning that will inspire both students and our academy community.
Oasis Academy Shirley Park provides education for students aged 3-18 and has separate primary, secondary and sixth form provision. There are approximately 1,600 students on role with just over 1000 attending the secondary phase. The Academy serves the local diverse population providing much needed school places. We are committed to ensuring that all our students, and their families, attending our academy are able to feel a true sense of belonging and value.
Born of the Oasis global charity, Oasis Community Learning is a family of Academies. We are one of the largest Multi-Academy Trusts in the UK, with the express purpose of transforming learning, lives and communities; aspiring to deliver exceptional education at the heart of the community. This is an exciting time to be joining the Oasis family, as through determination and interdependent collaboration we are working towards our vision of delivering exceptional education at the heart of the community together. Since just 2014 our percentage of academies being judged as ‘Good’ or Outstanding has risen from 39% to 81%. Find out more about us at www.oasiscommunitylearning.org
