Al Omania Education Services is an Omani Education operator based in Muscat. The education investment arm and a subsidiary of Iskan Oman Investment Company, it currently fully owns and operates three bilingual, all-through, co-educational international schools - the Azzan Bin Qais International School, the As Seeb International School and the Sohar International School. Each school offers a dual UK/Omani curriculum and caters to both local families, seeking an international style of education for their children and ex-patriates.
A requirement currently exists in one of its schools for a UK trained or equivalent Deputy Principal to:
- Provide strong, motivational administrative leadership
- Ensure the schools’ academic programs and staff practices provide each student with a demanding, balanced and holistic education
- Work collaboratively with boards of directors, senior administrators, teaching staff and parent associations
- Create the trust and confidence that ensures the schools operate at full capacity
You are an existing Headteacher or Deputy with experience of school leadership, gained in an international school, ideally delivering the Cambridge International curriculum. You have an understanding of the academic qualities and standards required to fulfil our schools’educational ambitions and the commercial acumen, change management and school improvement skills required to succeed in a for-profit environment. Able to effectively communicate and model the mission of a school, you inspire the trust and confidence of all members of the school community. Experience of working in an Arabic/bilingual environment and tailoring a curriculum to meet local needs will be highly advantageous.
