Al Omania Education Services is an Omani Education operator. The education investment arm and a subsidiary of Iskan Oman Investment Company, it currently fully owns and operates three bilingual, all-through, co-educational international schools - the Azzan Bin Qais International School and the As Seeb International School in Muscat and the Sohar International School in Sohar. Each school offers a dual UK/Omani curriculum and caters to both local families, seeking an international style of education for their children and ex-patriates.

Requirements currently exist in at least two of these schools for UK trained and equivalent Deputy Principals. We are looking for experienced school leaders to continue to develop the academic and operational management of the schools and to:

  • Provide strong, motivational leadership across the schools
  • Ensure the schools’ academic programs and staff practices provide each student with a demanding, balanced and holistic education
  • Work collaboratively with boards of directors, senior administrators, teaching staff and parent associations
  • Create the trust, confidence and reputation that ensures your school operates at full capacity

Currently operating as a Deputy or as a Headteacher in a smaller setting, you have experience of school leadership, gained in a successful and well regarded international school, ideally delivering the Cambridge International curriculum. You have an understanding of the academic qualities and standards required to fulfil our schools’ educational ambitions. You also possess the commercial acumen, change management and school improvement skills required to raise the profile of our schools, enabling them to succeed in a competitive, commercial educational environment. With the ability to effectively communicate and model the mission of a school, you inspire the trust and confidence of all members of the school community. Experience of working in an Arabic/bilingual environment and tailoring a curriculum to meet local needs will be highly advantageous.
