We are seeking an ambitious leader who is keen to play a key role in the leadership of our successful 2-19 all through academy. You will be someone with track record of securing high standards in teaching and learning and is ready for primary school leadership.

You will lead a primary team of teachers and leaders to secure the highest standards, building upon an established teaching and learning culture with good foundations. Your focus will be to ensure all children make rapid progress and are supported and nurtured to achieve their very best. As a senior member of the Academy Leadership Team, you will be steering the strategic direction for the whole academy. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated and inspirational leader to take our successful primary phase to the next level.

As an experienced senior leader you will have made significant contributions to whole school improvement, ideally with experience in inner-city, multi-cultural areas. You’ll have a clear understanding of what it takes to create a safe and nurturing learning environment and the ability inspire staff, students and the community towards the achievement of aspirational goals. You will have a sound understanding of the social, economic and educational challenges faced by children and families with low incomes and experience in building positive and trusting relationships with parents and carers.

About the Academy

Oasis Academy Hadley is an inclusive all-through, 2 to 19 academy that is committed to giving children the best possible educational opportunities. High performing and continuously improving, we are located 5 minutes from Ponders End train station in a new building with great facilities.    

Children at the academy make very good progress from their well below average starting points, exceeding or equaling national averages at all key stages. In 2019 overall achievements in the primary phase saw 88% of children in reception achieve a Good Level of Development, and at Key Stage Two, 67% of children reached the expected standard in Reading, Writing and Maths, and 15% exceeded the standard.

In the secondary phase, 2019 progress at Key stage 4 was 0.19 and in sixth form 94% of our students have progressed to university with 89% going to Russell Group and top third universities following a wide range of courses. Outside the classroom a wide range of extra-curricular activities, provide enrichment opportunities for our children. We pride ourselves as an integral part of the local community, and our work here is supported by the Oasis Hub Hadley, which provides integrated, high quality services that benefit our children and their families.
