Job overview

We are looking for a dedicated and well-qualified Deputy SENDCo with relevant experience to join our highly successful SEND department to assist with the leadership and co-ordination of provision for pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.

The Deputy SENDCo will work closely with the SENDCO, Senior Leadership Team members and colleagues in the strategic development of the school’s Special Education Needs & Disability (SEND) policy and provision.  You will also assist the SENDCO with a strategic overview of the provision for pupils with SEND or a disability across the school.

The successful candidate will be an excellent classroom practitioner with a proven track record of working successfully with students with additional needs to enable progress.

You will receive high quality support and CPD from expert colleagues who will coach and guide you through your professional development.
