Derby Primary KS1- Year 2

A popular Derby primary school is currently looking for a key stage 1 teacher to cover a year 2 class starting in September. The school are looking for a capable and consistently driven teacher to join their current roster of staff.

The school want a teacher who is able to push the children academically while also staying on top of their responsibilities in terms of their welfare and social skills. The school are currently encouraging both NQT’s and experienced teachers to apply as they have the resources to assist any teacher, providing training and support via their senior leadership team. 

The school is a three form entry with each class holding between 25 and 30 pupils, each class also has a Teaching assistant who is there to help with any challenging behaviour and with any 1:1 learning assistance children may require. 

What to do next:

To be considered for this position you will be required to attend a face to face registration and hold an enhanced DBS check in Child Workforce. You will need to pay for this upfront, but once you are fully registered, have uploaded this onto the Update Service and have worked 1 full day with us then we will reimburse you the cost. At the registration we will discuss in more detail the work that you are looking for, your experience to date, and also how we are going to work best for you. 

We will need to gain academic references to cover the last 12 months, one of which must be a school based reference. Our compliance team have a rigorous safeguarding and clearance process and this is how we know we are working with the best possible team of staff to employ in our schools.
