St Dominic’s has been through a period of rapid growth and change. We are therefore seeking dynamic and committed staff, who share our organisational values, to work alongside our leadership team.

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, self-driven, flexible and talented Teacher of Design & Technology to work with the pupils and students throughout the school across Key Stages 2 to 5. Candidates must be able to independently plan, prepare and deliver ongoing and informative lessons that progress the pupils and students towards the achievement of GCSE Design & Technology (Resistant Materials) and BTEC Construction from Entry Level to Level 2.

Candidates must be able to convey the subject to pupils and students who have a range of abilities and be able to monitor and assess to ensure the best possible progress. The successful candidate will have a commitment to developing outstanding practice and the desire and drive to improve educational outcomes and life chances for our very special pupils and students.

Applications are welcome from UQTs, NQTs and experienced teachers who have the ability to think creatively and are resilient and motivated by challenges.

Experience of working within a SEN setting is desirable but not essential.
