Vision for Education is seeking to appoint a Design and Technology Teacher to join our successful supply teaching team and to work in a fantastic Secondary School based in Wigan.
This particular School has great links to Manchester, Warrington and Wigan - easily commutable via the East Lancs and the M60.
The desired Design and Technology Teacher will be supported by an outstanding and passionate department, and will work alongside some excellent practitioners, who put children at the heart of everything they do. The desired Teacher must have experience of working within Secondary Schools and be comfortable in teaching to KS3 and KS4.
The timetable will consist of; Product Design, Graphic Products and General DT at KS3.
You must have experience using CAD/CAM and Sketch-up.
NQT's and experienced specialists are welcome to apply.
To be considered for the position of Design and Technology Teacher you must:
- Have experience teaching Design and Technology at KS3 and KS4 Level (you could have a specialism in Res Mat, Electronics, Graphics, Product Design, or something else)
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of Secondary Teachers
- Have a passion for teaching Design and Technology with the ability to plan and deliver inspiring lessons
