Job overview
We seek to appoint an outstanding Design teacher who engages students through creative delivery and is eager to try new ideas in a supportive environment. The post forms part of the school’s Design & Art faculty, which is a strong and team who are committed to delivering innovative and inspirational lessons to all students.
Ideally, the candidate should have experience of teaching KS4 and KS5 Design, preferably with AQA. Also, teaching Design and/or Engineering projects at KS3 would be beneficial.
The candidate should also be able to demonstrate good use of assessment and marking practices, moderation and reporting on student progress and have experience of using classroom behaviour to create a positive work environment.

About The Hart School
The Hart School is an 11-18, non-selective, oversubscribed school from September 2021 located in Rugeley, Staffordshire. We currently have 1195 students on roll including a growing sixth form of 150 students.
We are part of the growing Creative Education Trust and work closely with a family of schools to raise standards and to enable students to achieve their potential, thereby ensuring students are given the educational opportunity of a lifetime.
