Your responsibilities will predominantly be in relation to the Food Technology, CDT and Textiles Departments. The right candidate will work to support the team providing students with a relevant and effective technology experience and ensure high levels of achievement in our outstanding Art & Design Technology Faculty. 

You must have strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work under pressure, be a team player and show high levels of initiative and work ethic to be successful in the post. Please note that the role involves some manual handling with occasional heavy lifting with a strong awareness of health & safety.

This is a fixed term contract from September 2020 to July 2021 but may become permanent subject to curriculum changes.

Previous experience of working with children and young people is essential as is a desire to want to make a difference and is an excellent opportunity for anyone who is considering a career as a Design Technology teacher.
