The Role:

Harrow International School, New York is delighted to welcome applications for the post of Director of Admissions. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic, imaginative and experienced leader in the field of US school admissions to play a key role in shaping a world-leading school from its launch. The Director of Admissions will work closely with the Founding Principal and other members of the Founding Senior Leadership Team to develop a comprehensive Admissions strategy and process for the School. The Director of Admissions will have overall responsibility for all aspects of the School’s Admissions Office, developing a seamless applicant process underpinned by robust structures and performance measures, and ensuring that the School’s targets for student attraction and retention are met.  

The Director of Admissions will also work closely with the Director of Marketing and Communications to develop and embed effective engagement strategies with all key stakeholders, and to develop and promote the reputation of the School as a centre of educational excellence at local, national and global levels.

Significant previous experience of working at a senior level in a US school admissions environment will be an essential prerequisite for candidates applying for this role, and experience of working in a legacy boarding school environment is highly desirable.
