We are delighted to seek to recruit two new members of the Senior Management Team at St Mary’s School Ascot. Applicants are welcome to apply for one or both posts.

St Mary’s Ascot is a happy, busy and energetic full boarding school with an excellent reputation for pastoral care and academic success. We are looking for committed, creative and dynamic candidates to join our collaborative and forward-thinking senior team.

This is a new position on our Senior Management Team. The Director of Co-Curricular will be responsible for the management and development of co-curricular activities and enrichment opportunities. Candidates will be highly organised, have good interpersonal skills, able to think creatively and inspire and sustain confidence in staff, pupils, parents and governors. 

Accommodation is available on site for candidates who wish to be involved in additional boarding duties, although this is not an essential requirement of the post.

St Mary's School Ascot is a leading Roman Catholic girls' boarding school set in 55 acres of beautiful grounds in the heart of Berkshire. We are a friendly, stable and caring community, proud of our academic and sporting achievements and dedicated to bringing out the full potential of each of our 390 pupils. There are 120 pupils in the sixth form. We are committed to full boarding, with spaces for a few day pupils living nearby. We offer a stimulating range of co-curricular activities which take place in the evenings and throughout the weekend.

St Mary’s has a strong reputation as an academic school within the Catholic tradition. Entry to the school is selective. All pupils are expected to take 9 or 10 GCSEs, and almost all stay on for the Sixth Form to pursue their A Levels. Our leavers invariably go on to higher education, the vast majority to Russell Group universities or similar, including 10-15% to Oxbridge.
