Tes School Recruitment Services are working alongside a Trust in East Yorkshire looking for a Director of English to work collaboratively with other Directors across the Trust.
If you were to take this as a full-time role, you would be based in school with your own teaching groups for the equivalent of three days a week, then undertaking school improvement roles in other schools for the other two days - working with school leaders on curriculum development and the implementation teaching and learning across the group of schools. This is a varied and exciting role which could also be worked on a four day a week contract, if you would prefer to work part-time. It is the ideal combination of making a difference across the Trust, yet maintaining your teaching skills by having contact time with the students.
