Applications are invited for the above post within the City Learning Trust.  We are seeking an exceptional leader to become the Trust’s Director of Expressive Arts. The successful candidate will be an outstanding teacher and leader of disciplines within Expressive Arts who can demonstrate a track record of raising standards in teaching, learning and student outcomes across a team.


This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to take the next step towards senior leadership across a Trust while staying close to the subject they love.


You will work closely with the CEO, Trust Leadership team and all Academy leaders to shape the vision and culture for excellence in Expressive Arts across the Trust.  You will work with a talented and committed team of specialists and act as the lead professional.  As such, you will need to possess specialist subject expertise coupled with the skills and experience to assist subject staff at all levels to further develop pedagogy and practice, inspire young people and contribute to school improvement as part of the CLT extended leadership team. 


You will join the Trust at an exciting time as we establish an international partnership with Singapore, Shanghai and Finland to share excellence.  As we strive for ‘great’ teaching and learning in Expressive Arts you will embed the highest of expectations by leading this subject team to establish this culture throughout.
