We are looking for a well-qualified, enthusiastic and adaptable individual to lead with confidence, energy and clarity on the financial and operations management of the school. Responsible directly to the Headmaster, the successful candidate will be a key member of the Executive Management Group and oversee the organisation and smooth running of several of the non-teaching aspects of the school. Working closely with the Headmaster, the role will involve long-term strategic development and planning for the whole school as well as responsibility for all commercial and operational matters affecting the school.

The post holder will be expected to lead a strong team, interacting with both teaching and support staff, and will be responsible for the School’s financial performance and its future direction. The post holder will be committed to supporting, through all aspects of their work, the educational aims of the School, and the needs of the pupils and demonstrate a commitment to the safeguarding aims of the School. He or she will be able to inspire and motivate support staff to understand the shared purpose behind their work. They will engender a working atmosphere and operational systems that promote a cooperative, orderly, purposeful and harmonious environment in keeping with the expectations and ethos of the School as a whole. They will be committed to working with colleagues across Stonar School, be an ambassador for the School both internally and externally.
