Full time, permanent post with the possibility of part time / flexible working out of term time. 

Situated in 55 acres of beautifully landscaped grounds in the village of Oxshott, Surrey, Danes Hill School is widely recognised as one of leading co-educational day preparatory schools in the country.

This is an exciting opportunity to join us in this newly created, key strategic role. Reporting directly to the Head the post holder will assist the Head and senior team by providing professional in-house HR advice and support, and in an agile leadership capacity with the design, strategic development and operational implementation of the HR strategy and all HR projects and policies.

To succeed in this role, you will have an HR generalist background with strong HR advisory and project management experience (to include restructuring and organisational change), up-to-date knowledge of employment legislation and its practical application and an understanding of safeguarding principles and safer recruitment. You will have experience of engaging, guiding and supporting colleagues to gain successful outcomes and knowledge of promoting and sustaining diversity and inclusion within recruitment and retention strategies.
