We are seeking to appoint an outstanding Director of Marketing to direct and manage, co-ordinate and develop the college’s promotional and marketing strategy on a local, regional, national and international level.

What to expect? 

1. General Management 

1.1 Hold line management responsibility for:

● Marketing

● School liaison

1.2 Responsible for compliance with quality assurance processes within the above service areas. 

1.3 Ensure compliance with all statutory obligations.

1.4 Attend all relevant meetings, Committee meetings and Working Group meetings.

2. Marketing

2.1 Ensure the effective line management for the area for which the post-holder has responsibility.

2.2 Contribute to the strategic and operational development of the college’s marketing and promotional activities. This will include liaison with external marketing and PR companies.

2.3 Establish a PR strategy for the college.

2.4 Liaise with the college’s Senior Management Team (“SMT”) in respect of promotional and marketing strategy and activities.

2.5 Provide appropriate marketing information to CMT/SMT for strategic planning purposes.

2.6 Ensure the college’s attendance at appropriate promotional and marketing events, and arrange and co-ordinate staffing for such events.

2.7 Responsible for the organisation of and arrangements for official visits to the college, as designated by the Principal or SMT.

2.8 Collate LMI information on local and national levels to use for business planning purposes.

2.9 Organise and manage college events as directed by the SMT.

2.10 Report to the Principal on progress in respect of the college’s marketing plan.

2.11 Track and control the marketing budget

3 School Liaison

3.1 Lead and co-ordinate the college’s school liaison activities

3.2 Ensure the college is represented regularly at all key feeder schools

3.3 Provide direction and leadership to the School Liaison manager

3.4 Oversee expenditure budgets in relation to the school liaison.
