Job overview

DIRECTOR OF MATHEMATICS FOR BRIGHTER FUTURES LEARNING PARTNERSHIP TRUST-  PERMANENT FROM 1ST JANUARY 2020.

As the CEO of the Brighter Futures Learning Partnership Trust, I would like to extend a very warm welcome to you and thank you for your interest in the position of Director of Secondary Mathematics.

This is an exciting time to join our newly formed Trust which includes a diverse and successful range of schools; four Doncaster primary schools, an infant school, an 11-16 secondary school and from 2020, it will also include Doncaster University Technical College. The infant school, Kirk Sandall Infants and the secondary school, Hungerhill School are designated as Teaching and National Support schools and are recognised both locally and nationally for the work they have led on as part of the collaboration with Partners in Learning Teaching School Alliance. All schools are heavily invested in the development of a mathematics mastery curriculum and lead on a number of projects supported by the Doncaster Research School and the South Yorkshire Maths Hubs.

Being part of our Trust will offer you a fantastic opportunity to develop yourself, and, have a strong influence on student outcomes across our family of schools, initially focussing on the secondary phase. We actively encourage collaboration and the sharing of good practice; we believe that by developing a love of learning and having the highest expectations, all children and young people can excel.

Initially the post holder will be based at Hungerhill School, but from September 2020, there will be an expectation that the role is primarily across Hungerhill School and Doncaster UTC.

Closing date for applications is 9.00am on Tuesday 1st October 2019.

Interviews will be held on Wednesday 9th October 2019.
