Director of Operations and Finance

Prior Park Educational Trust comprises three thriving and prestigious schools: Prior Park College and The Paragon School, Bath and the newest addition Prior Park School, Gibraltar.  The heart of Prior Park Schools is the encouraging Catholic Christian ethos which nurtures over 1,000 pupils aged between 3 and 18 years to become confident, capable, compassionate and independent minded young people.

The Governors wish to appoint a dynamic individual to join the Prior Executive Board based in Bath.  This is a key post offering an exciting opportunity to work with busy and successful schools and to make a major contribution to their development and growth.  The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate a high degree of business acumen, with experience of financial control, strategic planning and decision-making at senior level.  Responsibilities will include the co-ordination of the business and support function across the Trust.  The post holder reports to the Chair of Governors and will also act as Clerk to the Governors.

Candidates will need a proven track record of successful management of people, finance and other resources; and of the delivery of organisational change.  They will also have excellent communication, influencing and negotiating skills.  It is vital that candidates be fully supportive of Prior Park’s ethos and are excited about being part of a strong community.
