The role and what we are looking for 

We are looking to appoint an exceptional leader for our Science subjects. We teach Combined and Separate Sciences as well as Computer Science which has its own subject specialist staff. This post represents an excellent opportunity for a leader of Science with a strong track record of improvement work as a middle leader to take their first step into Senior Leadership. 

This is an exciting position to support the next phase of the academy’s development to ensure Science is at the cutting edge of teaching and learning and ensure that the academy is consistently focused on fulfilling students’ individual potential in the Science disciplines and therefore enabling outstanding outcomes as a result. You will join an established department with a friendly, dedicated team who have increased their results year on year for the past four years.
