We are looking for an Administrator to join our busy Domestic and Site Services Department.  The department is made up of c. 70 cleaners, porters and security guards responsible for providing domestic services to the whole of the College, its pupils, staff and external clients and visitors. 


Reporting directly, and providing all-round administrative support, to the senior manager of this department, the post holder will take responsibility for the development and maintenance of efficient office procedures, systems and cost controls.  


Key duties include:


- administering  the clocking in/out system

- entering, monitoring and reporting on data relating to shift rotas

- overtime and staff attendance


Strong accuracy and organisation skills are essential, along with proven experience of using common office software such as MS Excel, and the ability to learn new software.  The successful candidate will have a calm manner and methodical approach to planning working time and resolving queries.


Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, orally and in writing, are also required when dealing with telephone calls in a courteous and helpful manner, draft correspondence and support departmental and staff meetings through note-taking and organisation of documentation, filing and archiving.
