Job overview
Wakefield College is an exciting place to be right now as we create a new dedicated maths team. Our aim is to create a learning experience, which is quite different, almost special, and will successfully steer our learners to engage in maths studies that are high quality and relevant to their working lives. We need individuals who will go the extra mile to make sure that learning is accessible, enjoyable and tailored to individual needs.
You could be teaching our full and part-time students on a range of courses – from Functional Skills, through to GCSE level maths and beyond. The nature of the post is about making sure our students are equipped to achieve, you should be able to demonstrate experience of re-engaging young people and have fantastic motivational skills.
