Drama Teacher

Our academy is about to go into its 8th year and has achieved a Good grading in all categories at Ofsted. We think that we are now outstanding. We are a highly moral educational provider for vulnerable and disengaged students in the Wyre Forest and Hagley area. All staff here are deeply committed to the well being, safeguarding and academic progress of our pupils. We work together as a close knit team to ensure pupils at our school receive high quality and bespoke educational provision. This is a very exciting time to join our school and join with us to make a substantial difference to the lives of our pupils. We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, self-driven, flexible and talented teacher to teach Drama across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5. Drama will be a new subject on our curriculum and so we are looking for someone who has the ability to develop the new Drama department with fresh ideas and resilience. There may be the opportunity for a TLR opportunity once the Drama department is up and running. You must be able to convey the subject to pupils and students who have a range of abilities, and monitor and assess to ensure the best possible progress. You will have a commitment to developing outstanding practice and a passion for making a difference to the education and lives of our young people by building positive and supportive relationships.Ideally we are looking for someone who can start in September, however we will consider January for the right candidate.
